Our office does not accept any HMO plans. We do not verify insurance coverage.
You will need to call your carrier and ensure our participation in your network to determine your coverage. We also suggest that you familiarize yourselves with your insurance policy. Please remember newborns must be added to your insurance policy within the first 30 days after birth. It is extremely important that you contact your insurance carrier to ensure that your newborn has been added to your policy.
It is your responsibility to keep your insurance and personal information current in our files. Please be sure to notify us of any changes in insurance, address or phone numbers. As a courtesy to our patients, we will also be happy to bill all out of network insurance carriers. We do not bill any secondary policies.
Co-pays must be paid at the time of service. This is a contractual agreement that you have with your insurance company. After your claim has been reconciled with your insurance, you will receive a billing statement from our office. The amount on this statement will reflect your balance, and that balance is due and payable within 30 days. Any balance remaining on your account for services not covered by your insurance company is your responsibility. Please take the time to review all correspondence from your insurance carrier. EOBs (explanation of benefits) will detail how your claim was paid to Beverly Hills Pediatrics. If you see any discrepancies, it is your responsibility to contact your insurance carrier.
We send bills on the first of each month, and bills are due upon receipt. A $25 service charge will be automatically added to your bill for every 30 days your payment is late.
Health care is changing rapidly and may be confusing. Our office does not verify benefits, so please check with your insurance carrier that we are in network with your policy.
Please be sure to bring your new insurance card to you first appointment at Beverly Hills Pediatrics. We will need to update every patient’s registration and we will need front and back copies of your insurance card.
To expedite check-in at the time of your appointment, please download our Updated Demographic Form complete in full and attach a front and back copy of your insurance card. If you are unable to do so, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We do appreciate your cooperation in helping us to keep your scheduled appointment on time.
Patty, our office manager, will be happy to assist with any of your billing or administrative questions or concerns.
