An organization widely credited with finding a vaccine to prevent Polio, March of Dimes now focuses its efforts on research, education, advocacy and community programs to prevent premature birth and promote healthy babies.
People in the entertainment industry have supported March of Dimes for almost 70 years. Stars like Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Judy Garland helped March of Dimes achieve success in their effort to beat infantile paralysis. The Celebration of Babies is an extension of support from people in our community and we are proud to be a par of this great event.
Proceeds from the Los Angeles Celebration of Babies luncheon benefit the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
