Interactive Pediatric Gross Motor Development Class: Birth to 5 Months of Age

Overview: Join us for an engaging and hands-on class focused on fostering healthy gross motor development in infants from birth to 6 months of age. This interactive session provides parents and caregivers with evidence-based strategies to support the development of strength, coordination, and motor skills in the early months of life. Learn how to create opportunities for tummy time, promote head and neck control, and encourage rolling, reaching, and early sitting skills—all while understanding the typical milestones for each stage. With practical tips, expert insights, and fun activities, you’ll leave equipped with the tools to support your infant’s growing physical abilities in ways that are age-appropriate and developmentally enriching.

Interactive Pediatric Gross Motor Development Class: 6 to 10 Months
This class will take place in-person at our BH location
Friday, April 11th, 2025 at 12 noon.
Duration: 45-60 minutes
Overview: In this dynamic and hands-on class, we focus on supporting infants between 6 and 12 months as they explore new milestones in their gross motor development. From sitting to crawling to standing, this interactive session will provide parents and caregivers with effective strategies to encourage strength, balance, and coordination during this exciting stage. Learn how to create safe environments for exploration, introduce activities that promote crawling, cruising, and standing, and understand key motor milestones. You’ll gain practical tools and expert advice to support your baby’s growing independence and motor skills, all while ensuring age-appropriate development and fostering confidence in every movement.
About the Instructor: Daniella Brown, PT, MPT, Pediatric Physical Therapist
Daniella Brown is a licensed pediatric physical therapist with over 18 years of experience and the owner of Proactive Pediatric Physical Therapy. Daniella treats children between the ages of birth to 16 years with diagnoses that include torticollis, gross motor delays, cerebral palsy, toe walking, and a variety of other orthopedic, genetic, and neurological conditions. Daniella prides herself on providing quality care that is both effective and sensitive to the needs of both the child and the family.
Cancellation policy: Beverly Hills Pediatrics is excited to offer new classes and workshops to its patients. We understand that sometimes schedule changes are necessary, but respectfully request at least a 72 hour notice for cancellations. Please understand that when you cancel your attendance for a class, BHP still has to compensate the instructor for your unfilled spot. If you cancel with less than a 72 hour notice or do not show for your registered class, you will be charged the full amount for that class.
