Beverly Hills Pediatrics is excited to offer Sleep Training Workshops in our office.  The workshops will be lead by Justine O’Neill, founder of Sleepy Bye Family. These workshops are designed for different ages and different stages of your child’s development. Whether you have a 4 week old infant and want to start out on the right foot or you have a 15 month old toddler that has failed many sleep training attempts, there is a workshop for you!

Newborn Sleep Foundations:

This workshop includes an overview of sleep education: What is sleep science? How does sleep organize? What are sleep foundations and why do they matter? What does newborn sleep really look like (and sound like!) and how can you set your baby up for sleep success? How to avoid sleep traps and crutches, soothing your newborn and the link between sleep deprivation and postpartum depression. Group discussion and questions will be part of this workshop.

This class is recommended maternity – 3 months.

Baby Sleep Foundations:

This workshop includes an overview of sleep education: What is sleep science? What are sleep foundations and why do they matter? What are sleep crutches and how do they evolve? What is self-settling and does my baby have to cry to learn it? When is the best time to encourage independent sleep? Do we have a sleep problem? Can I co-sleep AND have a baby that sleeps through the night? Night weaning. Regressions and leaps. Behavioral training options, when to use them and when NOT to use them and reframing tears. Group discussion and questions will be part of this workshop.

This class is recommended 4 months-1 year.

Toddler Sleep Foundations:

This workshop includes an overview of sleep education: What is sleep science? What are sleep foundations and why do they matter? What are sleep crutches and how do they evolve? Toddler sleep related behaviors. Nap dropping vs. nap resistance. Potty training and how it impacts sleep. Toddler regressions and leaps. Napping in day care or pre-school. Crib to bed transition. Group discussion and questions will be part of this workshop.

This class is recommended 1yr-3yr

About the instructor:

Justine ONeill is a Certified Holistic Infant and Child Sleep Consultant with a practice based in Los Angeles, Sleepy Bye Family. She works with private clients in the US and Canada and regularly leads sleep education forums throughout her community. She is passionate about approaching sleep holistically, does not believe that one size fits all when it comes to sleep solutions and insists that a sense of humor is your best asset in parenting!

Justine is also a mother of two rambunctious boys that are highly skilled in the art of potty humor and spilling juice on freshly mopped floors.

Cancellation policy: Beverly Hills Pediatrics is excited to offer new classes and workshops to its patients. We understand that sometimes schedule changes are necessary, but respectfully request at least a 72 hour notice for cancellations. Please understand that when you cancel your attendance for a class, BHP still has to compensate the instructor for your unfilled spot. If you cancel with less than a 72 hour notice or do not show for your registered class, you will be charged the full amount for that class.
