To our patients:

At Beverly Hills Pediatrics we are always looking for ways to improve access to care and to expand the services that we offer to you. In that tradition, we opened Beverly Hills Pediatrics After Hours, and are now excited to offer an additional benefit to better serve you. Beverly Hills Pediatrics is teaming up with Kids Doctors on Call (KidsDOC), a solely pediatric based telemedicine company (founded by our very own Dr. Cohen) that connects patients to a pediatrician via a live video call.

KidsDOC will allow you to video chat with a pediatrician at Beverly Hills Pediatrics. Initially, we will schedule these video calls with a doctor during regular office hours which may help you avoid a trip to the office during LA traffic. Eventually, we will include after hours and weekends. These visits will be billed to your insurance carrier.

To sign up, go to:  https://callkidsdoc.com  and click on Patient Sign Up to create your family profile. Don’t forget to enter our Practice Code: BHP2016

KidsDOC will be useful for many areas of pediatric medicine, including, but not limited to:

To get started, simply sign-up your child by following the steps below.

  • On your iPhone/iPad search Kids Doctors on Call and download from the app store.
  • On your computer or other mobile devices sign-up at www.callkidsdoc.com
  • Call our office for the PRACTICE CODE.

In addition to our pediatric urgent care and new telemedicine service, we will continue to be available for regular phone calls during office hours and on weekends. We know peace of mind in a timely manner is invaluable and that is why we believe live video conferencing is a needed complement to the future of pediatric care.

We look forward to video conferencing soon.

The Doctors of Beverly Hills Pediatrics

Note from Dr. Scott Cohen

As a pediatrician and parent, I know firsthand how important it to have access to top rate pediatric care when your child is sick or hurt or just need some parenting advice. That is why I co-founded Kids DOC. By live video conferencing with your family, your pediatrician may be able to make a diagnosis and initiate treatment or counsel you on a medical topic. They may refer you directly to a specialist or, in some circumstances, may ask you to visit the office or go to the emergency department for further evaluation and treatment. Regardless of the situation, we want to make your life easier and improve access to medical care in a timely manner.

As Kids DOC spreads to pediatric practices and hospitals across the country our goal is to give your family peace of mind when it comes to your child’s health.
