He completed his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where he was the
recipient of the Victor E. Stork Award for Continued Excellence and Future Promise in the CareEat, Sleep, Poop - A Common Sense Guide
of Children, the Associates and Affiliates Award for scientific knowledge, clinical judgment, and
excellence in human relations, and the Community Service Award for helping develop Helping
Hands for Children, a curriculum which teaches pediatricians to effectively advocate for the
needs of children.

Dr. Cohen has been selected as one of the Best Doctors in America® 2007-2019, and was named
one of Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2018 and 2019. He has been an expert
contributor for many national media outlets, including Good Morning America, The Doctors,
ABC News, and Parents magazine.

Originally from Maryland, Dr. Cohen received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University
and his Medical Degree from the University of Miami. He lives in Los Angeles, where he and
his wife raise their daughters stress-free…most of the time.

Bess Raker, MD, FAAP

Bess Raker, MD, FAAPDr. Bess Raker is a board certified pediatrician who is committed to educating parents about the care of their children.  She is particularly passionate about newborn growth and development and first-time parenthood.  “Dr. Bess”, as she is affectionately known by her patients, enjoys the deeply personal relationships she has with all of her families and is honored to be such an integral part of their lives.

Dr. Bess completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she treated patients with a wide spectrum of medical conditions.  She remains involved in various outreach and fundraising activities for CHLA.

She received her medical degree from University of Arizona.  Dr. Bess graduated as a Dean’s Distinguished Graduate from University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  Her father was a beloved pediatrician in Phoenix, Arizona.  She is thrilled to continue the family legacy and even gets to take care of some children of his patients!

Dr. Bess is the co-founder of Beverly Hills Pediatrics, Beverly Hills Pediatrics After Hours and an attending physician at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.  She was recently listed as one of  “Hollywood’s Top Doctors” by the Hollywood Reporter.

Dr. Bess loves living in LA, checking out new restaurants, enjoying the outdoors and spending her free time with her husband (who is even taller than her) and their two shockingly tall children – Bradley and Hannah.

Inessa Grinberg, MD, PhD, FAAP

Dr. Inessa Grinberg, MD, PhD, FAAP

Dr. Inessa Grinberg enjoys working with children of all ages, providing guidance as kids move through their many different stages. She emphasizes preventative health and strives to empower families with knowledge and support. Her goal is not only to provide medical care, but also to serve as a resource for the just-as-important non-medical challenges that define everyday family life.

Dr. Grinberg is originally from the former Soviet Union. She moved to Los Angeles in her early teenage years and completed her undergraduate education in Molecular and Developmental Biology at the University of California.

She then embarked on a combined MD/PhD program at the University of Chicago, receiving Honors in her medical studies and a PhD in Human Genetics. Her graduate work was honored with an award for most meritorious research in the general field of Pediatrics and resulted in numerous peer-reviewed publications as well as a book chapter on neurodevelopment.

Dr. Grinberg went on to complete her residency training in Pediatrics at UCLA, where she was the recipient of Alice Litman Moss Resident Award for outstanding, compassionate and sensitive performance in both clinical and research fields.

Dr. Grinberg happily joined the Beverly Hills Pediatrics team in 2010 and is currently an attending physician at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Grinberg has been listed in Super Doctors 2016-present and was selected for the Top Doctors Award by the Los Angeles Magazine in 2019, 2021 and 2023.

Dr. Grinberg’s favorite pastime is spending time with her husband and three sons. When not at work, she can be found losing a game of tennis to her oldest son, going for long hikes with her 7th grader, or snuggling up and reading with her youngest one.

Kacey O’Malley, MD, FAAP

Kacey was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. She attended college at Elon University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. She then went on to receive her medical degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. While in medical school, she also completed an advanced assistantship in alcohol and drug dependency in Pittsburgh. She completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where she was awarded the Gary F. Krieger, M.D. Pediatric Advocacy Award. For the last two years, Kacey has been practicing Pediatrics in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. She is thrilled to be coming back to Los Angeles to join the Beverly Hills Pediatrics team.

Kacey is passionate about preventative medicine, and loves helping patients and their families establish healthy habits that will allow them to live long, healthy lives. She also has a a special interest in global medicine, and has performed extensive medical volunteer work all over the world, with an emphasis on helping communities build their own sustainable healthcare systems. Some of her other areas of interest include mental health disorders and caring for patients with complex medical conditions. Outside of work, Kacey enjoys hiking with her dog, Ollie, exploring the many wonderful restaurants and cultural activities of Los Angeles, and spending time with her new nephew, Javier.

Alexandra Dawn McCollum, MD, FAAP

Dr. Alexandra Dawn McCollum, MD, FAAPDr. Alex was born and raised in Chico, California. She completed her undergraduate training at UC Santa Barbara and graduated from St. George’s University, School of Medicine in 2005.  She then completed her pediatric residency training at Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center, in New York where she was recognized with the Resident of the Year teaching award. She later went on to complete a one year post-doctoral research fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.

Dr.  Alex has been practicing general pediatrics since 2009 in both New York and Los Angeles. She was listed as one of the 2019 Top Doctors in Los Angeles magazine.  She has a special interest and expertise in pediatric dermatology — she loves rashes. One of her favorite parts of being a general pediatrician is the relationships she builds with the families she cares for. She finds motherhood to be the most challenging and rewarding part of life.  As a parent, she understands first hand the desire to do the very best for our children knowing that in the age of social media it’s hard to weed through all of the information we are faced with in making the best decisions we can for our kids.

When she is out of the office she and her husband Dr. Josh Sherman are busy with their three children, Jordan, Jake and Lena.  They enjoy going to the beach, swimming, cooking and travelling to visit family.

Elaina Linetskiy, MD, FAAP

Dr. Elaina Linetskiy is a board certified pediatrician and a member of the Academy of Pediatrics.  She enjoys supporting families through all the joys and challenges of the newborn period and beyond.

Dr. Linetskiy was born in Belarus and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 3.  She attended Beverly Vista and Beverly Hills High School.  She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Southern California.  She then moved to the east coast for medical school at New York Medical College followed by residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Long Island.

After 7 years in NY, Dr. Linetskiy moved back to LA in 2013 and has been an active part of the pediatric community on the westside.  She joined Beverly Hills Pediatrics in 2021.

In her free time, Dr. Linetskiy enjoys dancing around the house with her kids, spending time at the beach and discovering new restaurants and bakeries. Dr. Linetskiy lives with her husband and two girls.

Elliott Antman, MD

Elliot AntmanDr. Elliott Antman is excited to join Beverly Hills Pediatrics. He was born in Los Angeles and grew up in nearby Manhattan Beach. He completed his undergraduate education in Speech Communication at Colorado State University.

After college he spent three years living in Tel Aviv, Israel. During his time in Israel he volunteered at Dana Dwek Children’s Hospital, spending time with children on the oncology floor. He also enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces where he served in the medical corps. His experiences there inspired him to pursue a career in medicine.

Dr. Antman returned to Colorado to complete his post-baccalaureate coursework and medical school at the University of Colorado. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of California Irvine/Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Dr. Antman is interested in nutrition, preventive medicine, and is passionate about providing children and adolescents with the foundation for happy and healthy lives.

Dr. Antman is excited to be living in his hometown of Los Angeles. Outside of medicine he enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking new recipes, and surfing all over Southern California.

Saloni Bhatt, MD

Dr. Saloni Bhatt

Dr. Saloni Bhatt is delighted to join Beverly Hills Pediatrics. She is a board certified Pediatrician and a recent transplant from the east coast. She grew up in Morgantown, WV where she also completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University. She received her MD at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and went on to complete her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital. To broaden her experience after residency, she practiced within the Emergency Room at Children’s National Hospital in DC and then at a specialized pediatric urgent care here in LA, where she treated and cared for children with colds to critical illnesses.

Her passion has always been primary care and she is excited to treat patients with personalized care and build relationships with her patients and their families at BHP. She has a particular interest in newborn care and helping parents navigate this crucial time. Dr. Bhatt’s journey began when she was a child making her very own at home first-aid kit and a strong desire to help others. Years later, she hasn’t outgrown her childhood dream and commitment to take care of others. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking and enjoying the beach. She has also been exploring everything that LA has to offer and looks forward to trying new activities in the area.

Ramin Azhir, MD

Dr. Ramin Azhir, MD

Ramin was born and raised in Newport Beach, California. He graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s in neuroscience. He then went on to receive his medical degree from St. George’s School of Medicine in 2017. After completing his pediatric residency at UCSF Fresno, he returned to southern California where he has been practicing for the last two years.

Ramin is deeply passionate about building relationships with families, and making an enduring impact on his patients’ lives. He also has a particular interest in preventative medicine and adolescent mental health care.

Ramin currently lives in Venice with his husband (also a pediatrician) where they enjoy spending time with Maeve, their beloved (also lazy) corgi. He’s an avid runner, and will talk your ear off about the importance of stretching. If he’s not running, he enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and is always hunting for the best pizza spot in LA.

Meghan Janette, MD MPH

Meghan Janette, MD MPH

Dr. Janette received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she was also a Division I volleyball player. She worked in pharmaceutical research and development before deciding to attend medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, obtaining both her medical degree and Master’s of Public Health as part of the school’s prestigious dual-degree program.

She traded one sunshine state for another and moved from Miami to Los Angeles to complete her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she was nominated for multiple teaching awards and was the recipient of the Associates & Affiliates Award in Scientific Knowledge, Clinical Judgement, and Excellence in Human Relations.

Dr. Janette believes in a comprehensive and personalized approach to health and wellness for patients and their families. While her interests are vast, she is especially interested in preventative health and nutrition, allergic disorders, and dermatology.

She currently lives in Venice Beach, where she enjoys trying out local restaurants with friends, staying active, and spending time outdoors.
