2011 March of Dimes Golden Rattle Award
The March of Dimes has chosen us as the organization’s 2011 Golden Rattle Award winners at this year’s Celebration of Babies in Beverly Hills! The Golden Rattle Award is given to an individual or individuals who advocate for babies and who shares the goal that every baby be given a healthy start.
An organization widely credited with finding a vaccine to prevent Polio, March of Dimes now focuses its efforts on research, education, advocacy and community programs to prevent premature birth and promote healthy babies.
People in the entertainment industry have supported March of Dimes for almost 70 years. Stars like Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Judy Garland helped March of Dimes achieve success in their effort to beat infantile paralysis. The Celebration of Babies is an extension of support from people in our community and we are proud to be a par of this great event.
Proceeds from the Los Angeles Celebration of Babies luncheon benefit the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
