Karen Hlavenka, Office Manager
Karen has over 16 years of experience in the medical industry (evident by the only black and white photo) from sales to management. Her most accomplished success to date was opening and managing the Texas Children’s Health Center (TCH) in The Woodlands, TX. Prior to TCH, Karen had the opportunity to work for Developmental Steps, a small independently owned pediatric therapy center, of which she became part owner. Karen has been with Beverly Hills Pediatrics now for almost a year. She has three children, a daughter Lauren in NYC and two sons Jason and Nick in Dallas. Karen enjoys her family most of all and after that any opportunity she can get to hold and play with the kids at BHP! Karen is now working off-site for BHP.

Claudia Urbina, Front Office Supervisor
Claudia, originally from El Salvador, has more than 5 years of front office experience as well as her degree as a medical assistant. In her spare time, Claudia enjoys salsa dancing and going to the movies. She also loves spending time with her mom and her 2 nieces and 2 nephews who are both twins. Claudia has made a wonderful addition to the BHP family.

Nicole Cunningham, Front Office
Originally from Jamaica, Nicole Cunningham is an enthusiastic student who loves children. She has a baby girl of her own and enjoys watching her grow. In her spare time, she loves to take her daughter out to interact with other children. Nicole hopes to someday have three other children and become a business owner.

Andrea Madrid, Front Office
Born in Los Angeles but raised in El Salvador, Andrea moved back to California when she was 15 years old. She has her degree in visual communications from FIDM Los Angeles. She is also a trained jazz and ballet dancer and enjoys spending her free time with family, snowboarding, hiking, going to the beach, reading, and traveling to El Salvador. Andrea especially loves spoiling her 6 year old niece.

Dealane Shaw “Dee Dee”, Medical Assistant
Dee Dee was born in Los Angeles and has twelve years of experience as a medical assistant. She is currently studying to become a registered nurse. In her spare time, Dee Dee enjoys spending time with her two children.

Carol Araya, Medical Assistant
Carol was born in Los Angeles, California. She has over 10 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, in specialties such as pediatrics and orthopedics. She has always had a love for nursing and is currently in school to obtain her license in Vocational Nursing. In her spare time she enjoys fine dining and visits to local art galleries and exhibits.
